在英語中，表示兩者之間關系的不定代詞有both，either，neither。但，一旦將三者放在一塊，分分鐘糊涂。這三個不定代詞的具體使用方法分別如下：

1. both“全部，都”，指兩個人或事物。可用作主語、賓語、定語或同位語。

Both like English. 大家兩個都愛英語。

We invited both to come to our party. 大家邀請兩個人都來參加晚會。

Both boys like playing football. 兩個男生都愛踢球。

They both like playing football. 他們兩個都愛踢球。

2. either“兩者之中的任何一個，這個或那個”，可以作主語、賓語和定語。

Either of them will agree to this plan. 他們兩人中會有人贊同這個計劃的。

You may plant either in the street. 你可以種在街道的任一邊。

You can take either book. 兩本書任你拿一本。

注：either 還可作副詞用于否定句，表示 “也”，等于一定句中的 “too”。

We don’t care it either. 大家也不在乎。

3. neither“兩者都不”，可作主語、賓語和定語。

Neither likes English. 大家兩個都不喜歡英語。

I like neither. 我全部都不喜歡。

Neither student can answer this question. 兩個學生都不可以回答這個問題。

注：neither可用于句首，引導倒裝句。

Neither have my parents been to Hongkong. 我爸爸媽媽都沒去過香港。
