以as引出的讓步狀語從句常常倒裝，將謂語、賓語、中心動詞、狀語或表語提前，意思為“雖然……”、“盡管……” 常用倒裝。as等于though，常用于名詞（形容詞、副詞、動詞）+ as+ 主語+ be或其他動詞如此的句型。有時以though 引出的讓步狀語從句也可以如此安排語序。而表語若為單數名詞提前時，該名詞省去冠詞。
