A這種代詞有myself，yourself，himself，herself，itself，ourselves，yourselves，themselves。請注意第二人稱單數形式yourself和第二人稱復數形式yourselves之間的差別。不定反身代詞和

不定強調代詞為oneself。

B動詞所表示的行為施加到施動者自己身上時，也就是主語和賓語同為一人時，用myself，yourself等詞作動詞的賓語：

I cut myself．

我把自己割傷了。

He cant shave himself．

他不會給自己刮臉。

It is not always easy to amuse oneself on holiday．

假日自娛并不是一直一件容易的事。

Tom and Ann blamed themselves for the accident．

湯姆和安為了這起意料之外事故責備自己。

This refrigerator defrosts itself．

這臺冰箱可自動除霜。

請注意，假如把反身代詞換成相互代詞each other，其意思就會發生變化：
