Music, food, location, decoration... planning your wedding can be instantly overwhelming，由于旁邊附有各種有關婚慶的圖片，如結婚宴會、婚紗照甚至是蜜月旅游，所以比較容易猜得出shebang在這里等于packages；the whole thing，即大家漢語中常說的一攬子或一條龍服務。細查shebang的進步歷史，發現它的詞義演變之快大有迅雷不及掩耳之勢。 1862年，美國詩人沃爾特惠特曼在他的日志中初次用到shebang一詞，The soldiers guarding the road came out from their tents or shebangs of bushes，從整句話詞義間的相互關系來看，shebang在這里等于tents或huts，指臨時搭建的屋棚。 1869年，馬克吐溫開始用shebang代指整個事件；局勢的整個進步過程；三年后，他又創造了shebang用來指馬車；到了1901年，大家又用shebang指代小酒館；妓院；賭場。舉兩個例子： I'm sick of the whole shebang.（我對整個這件事膩歪透了。） You're welcome to ride here as long as you please, but this shebang's chartered.（歡迎你盡情用這輛馬車，不過這一整套用具是要包租的.)
