【答】此句不能用those。those 作為替代詞（指代復數(shù)名詞），是為了防止重復。一般用在同一個句中，或比較句中。另外一句則用人稱代詞 them。

代詞有指代詞和替代詞之區(qū)別。those 既能夠是指代詞，也可以是替代詞。作為替代詞的those ，指相同種類不同物。比如：

The twobooks are more interesting than those on the shelf.

這個句子中的 those 就是替代詞，替代的是相同種類事物（書），但不是前文的 the books。

網(wǎng)友的句子，them 指many popular novels。

2、語法書上說“歷程”：experience 可數(shù)；“經(jīng)驗”：experience 不可數(shù)。那樣 life experience 是“生活經(jīng)驗“還“是生活歷程”？ 是不是可數(shù)呢？

【答】experince 既是“經(jīng)驗”（抽象不可數(shù)），也是“歷程”（實質(zhì)指具體歷程的事件，可數(shù)）。既然是 life experience，應該是前者。假如指“一個人一生的無數(shù)歷程”，則說：experiences in his life。

3、英文原聲影片中常看到，兩人對話時，一人問道：“Understood？”為什么不是“Understand？”（Do you understand? 的縮略）?

【答】詢問他們是不是了解我們的意思，口語中都可以說：

Undersand?

Understood?

前者是 Do you undersand? 的省略。

后者是 Have you understood? 的省略。
