我感覺選B（should） happen更適合，各位老師感覺呢？朗文詞典說在較正式的語境中可以用should do，未必要用目前時。

現代英語，in case 多用于陳述語氣，表示真實條件，等于 if 的使用方法，從句用一般目前年代替一般以后時，用一般過去年代替過去以后時，直接用 if 代入即可：
